Monsoon is all around the corner. After the sweaty and hot summer season, the monsoon is such a relief, but it also comes with lots of infections along with it. Our hair and skin suffer a lot due to the high amount of humidity. It leads to fungal infections and bacteria. Which results in several skin and hair related problems like pimples, blackheads, hair fall, dandruff etc.
Today I am going to list some skin care tips so that you can enjoy this monsoon without facing any problem.
-Use soap-free and paraben free cleansers and a mild scrub, to keep your skin squeaky clean all the time. Cleanse your skin at least thrice a day to remove excess grime and oil.
-You must tone your skin after cleansing and go for an alcohol-free toner these will not irritate your skin and help even out your skin’s pH balance and also bring a glow to your skin.
-Use a light moisturizer to make your skin moist, supple and healthy. If you have oily skin, then Gel based moisturizers are a great option to keep oil secretion in check.
-Most of us stop using sunscreen when the sun is not visible, but you must continue it even if it is cloudy. You should wear sunscreen every single day.

-Apply some milk cream on your lips at night. Avoid lipsticks especially the matte ones because they can make your lips dry and flaky. Apply coconut oil if they are slightly cracked.
-Always wash your face, hands, and feet as soon as you reach your home with lukewarm water. This makes you feel refreshed and keeps harmful bacteria in a bay.
-Stay hydrated by drinking at least 8 glasses throughout the day. Humidity can make you sweat a lot and if your skin doesn’t have enough moisture it can look pale and dull.
-Monsoon is not the time to experiment with artificial jewelry, especially if you have sensitive skin. The humidity in the air will increase the risk of an infection.
-Make your own homemade face packs using ingredients from your kitchen. They are natural and will do a world of good for your skin.
-Avoid hot showers and a steam bath in the monsoon season. They can remove moisture and damage delicate skin. Hence, it is important that you take bath and shower with lukewarm or tepid water.
