It is a popular saying that the sun is always shining somewhere, and where there is sunlight, tanning and photo-aging can’t be far behind. This is why using a product with SPF is a must whenever you step out of the house during the day, but in case you skipped this essential skin care step and have ended up with a tan then I have the perfect product for you! Today I will review the Nature’s Essence Lacto Tan Clear – Tan Removal Cream, which is an extremely affordable tan removal product.
Unlike most tan removal products in the market that are basically physical scrubs, this product is a smooth cream with no grittiness at all. This cream contains milk proteins and honey extracts that help brighten the skin and remove any pigmentation or spots caused by exposure to sunlight. You need to apply a thin layer of the cream to tanned skin, massage it in for 10-15 minutes, and then rinse it off with water.
Milk and honey are two ingredients that have been used in homemade face masks in India since the olden days, for adding a natural glow to the skin, and this product also manages to do just that. The cream spreads on the skin like butter and a fair amount also gets absorbed by the skin. Upon rinsing after 15 minutes, my skin looks instantly brighter and more radiant than before.
This product removes the dullness and pigmentation caused by sunlight, but do keep in mind that if you have a severe tan, it will not disappear after one use. However, with consistent use of this product, this cream will definitely restore your natural complexion without being abrasive or harsh on the skin. For best results, I will recommend daily usage until your tan vanishes completely.
Another great thing about the product is that it is quite soothing and nourishing on the skin, perhaps because it contains geranium oil. This is an added bonus for sunburnt skin because the cream heals the skin while cooling it down. It also gets rid of any oiliness and leaves the face feeling matte and supple.
In case you have extremely dry skin, this product might be a bit too mattifying for you, in which case I would recommend leaving it on only for 5 minutes and using a good moisturizer afterward. Other than this minor issue, I cannot think of any other negative feature of this product. In fact, it is great for those with sensitive skin who want to get rid of a tan but do not want to use rough exfoliators.
Coming to the best part, this tan removal cream is available at an extremely affordable price of INR 145 for a 100gm tub. This tub will last you for months and is excellent value for money. I honestly could not ask for more from such a budget-friendly product.
If you are planning a beach vacation or are someone whose job demands spending a lot of time outdoors then investing in this product is a must. In my opinion, it is the best pocket-friendly yet effective tan removal product available in the market at the moment.
